⭐ Her Final Fury: The Betty Broderick Story Part II – My Review (5/5)

ree

Her Final Fury picks up right where the first film left off, and it hits just as hard—maybe even harder. This isn’t just a continuation; it’s the emotional fallout, the consequences, and the cold reality of everything Betty did and everything she became. And the way this movie handles it is powerful, gripping, and honestly unforgettable.

Meredith Baxter once again delivers a performance that feels almost too real. She captures Betty’s anger, confusion, bitterness, and heartbreak all at once. You can feel the weight of every decision she made, and the movie does an incredible job showing the mental and emotional spiral she’s still trapped in. It’s uncomfortable in the best way—because you’re meant to sit with the truth of who she is now.

What I really loved is how the film dives deeper into the courtroom drama. The tension is thick, and every testimony adds another layer to the story. You see the manipulation, the denial, the inability to accept responsibility—yet also the pain that shaped her. It doesn't make excuses for her, but it doesn't dehumanize her either. It’s a delicate balance, and the movie nails it.

The pacing is tight, the storytelling is sharp, and the emotional intensity never lets up. It’s a rare sequel that stands strong on its own while perfectly completing the full picture of Betty Broderick’s descent.

If you watched the first part, you HAVE to watch this one. It closes the story in a way that stays with you long after the credits roll.

5 out of 5 from me.
